TEHRAN National boxing team of Iran is to leave here on April 28 for Turkey to take part in an international tournament.

Iranian pugilists are getting ready for 2002 Asian Games in Pusan, South Korea.

The week-long international bouts will start in Istanbul on April 29, IRNA reported.

In addition to the host country and Iran, a number of European teams are to participate in the Turkish event.

According to Iran's Boxing Federation (IBF), coaches and pugilists are as follows:

57kg: Morteza Ya'qoubloo

60kg: Mohammad Asheri

63.5kg: Morteza Sepahvand

67kg: Reza Qassemi

75kg: Homayoun Amiri

81kg: Mohammadreza Qarouni

91kg: Rouhollah Hosseini

+91kg: Alireza Esteki

Headed by Homayoun Ardalan, the Iranian team will be coached by Hossein Nahroudi and Gholamreza Karimi and accompanied by Salar Mo'af as a judge.
